The Morgan Family, Normal Teen??

Oh, your back to learn more about me?!?! Hmmm…I’m surprised. Honestly, my life isn’t that interesting, I know, most teenagers would love the opportunity to live on their own. (No parents telling them what to, being able to make their own decisions, etc.) But, really I can’t afford to act wild and crazy. I have to keep up the appearance that there is someone at home taking care of me. I don’t want to cast suspicion into my family, so I have to take a lot of care, making sure my house is up to par.

I’ve had some minor difficulties with the day to day chores…ahem…yes, I almost burned down my entire house. I know, I know…I can’t be that careless, but working and going to school is beginning to take a toll on me and I was just too tired to keep a proper eye on my breakfast.

Thankfully the fireman that came to help put out the fire was too busy to stick around and ask questions about where my parents were. (He was called about another fire a few houses down.) It was a bit scary, though, having an adult in my home and knowing that he could turn me into the authorities. I don’t want to lose my home in Glacier Bay.

I know that it sounds like I don’t have any fun, but actually I do have a little. I’ve made some really special friends and I even have a girlfriend; her name is Sophie and she is the most wonderful person in the entire world. I try to spend as much time as possible with her (I’m usually left with a few hours free on the weekends) and we’ve been out on several dates. In fact, on our last outing, Sophie kissed me…for the FIRST TIME! It was wonderful!

Unfortunately, some old bat came over and starting pummeling Sophie with her purse…apparently she doesn’t approve of “puppy love”. I felt sorry for Sophie, but I was staying clear of the situation…I didn’t want the old woman to turn her purse on me.

I thought for sure the incident would ruin our entire date, but Sophie didn’t seem fazed by the whole thing. She even gave me another kiss at the end of the evening.

I’m glad that I met her and I hope we are able to stay close. I just hate keeping secrets from her, but I can’ risk anyone knowing the truth about my family. Maybe one day I can let her in on what is really going on. Well, it is getting late and I have homework to finish. Catch everyone later!

I’m a little behind on my blog reading so I have a few more of your updates to read still but I just wanted to say that I really like this kid. It seems like he’s got his head on straight. Hopefully everything will work out for him.
