Roslynn’s Downfall
The following is directly from Roslynn’s diary:
Dear Diary,
I’ve heard that confession is good for the soul and can even help you come to terms with what you have done. Well, that is why I am pouring my heart out on these pages. I have no one else to turn to, at least, no one that I would trust with this secret. If the truth ever came out, it would ruin too many lives and I couldn’t bare the pain or responsibility. To be honest, writing down the happenings of the last few years isn’t a smart idea either,(my father always told me to never commit to paper what you don’t want another living person to know) but I fear it is the only way to clear my conscious.
I should start at the beginning, Anna had just turned into a toddler and I was preparing to return to work. Thomas had arranged to stay home during the day and care for Anastasia. He loved spending time with her and they would play for hours in her room.
That is where I would find them when I came home from work. I adored my husband and my children (I still do) and relished in the special time I had with Anna; she was my little princess.
