Ramblings of a Sim Addict

The following is directly from Roslynn’s diary:

Dear Diary,
I tried to forget about the kiss and the feelings that were awakened from it, I wanted to do the right thing and be a good wife and mother. At work, I stayed clear of Komei (the handsome red haired man, that kissed me) and concentrated solely on the jobs set before me. He seemed to catch the hint and left me alone, I was grateful for the distance.

Once I was home, I was always busy. Anastasia was growing fast, so Thomas and I got to work quickly planning another birthday party for her. We had a small, traditional little celebration in our kitchen. Thomas brought Anna to her cake and helped her blow out her candles, while Tony and I stood by and cheered.

She grew before our eyes, into a child. She wasn’t the most beautiful little girl, but I sensed something uniquely special about her. Anna had an air of confidence that was apparent, even at her young age. I could feel that she would be a strong, successful young woman.

After Anna’s birthday, I was beginning to feel better about myself and my mistake. I still had a slight nagging in my stomach and I still longed for adventure and excitement, but I was happy playing with my children.

My life was returning to normal, until I answered the phone…
I had just tucked Anna into bed, Thomas was still at work and I had been expecting a call from my office. When I picked up the receiver, my heart fluttered when I heard Komei’s voice on the other end.
“I had to hear you voice, Roslynn,” he sighed into the phone.

“Komei, I thought we had this worked…”

“Don’t,” he interrupted, “I’ve tried to stay away from you, but I can’t. I have feelings for you and I felt your feelings for me, the day I kissed you. I want to see you again.”

“We can’t,” I pleaded. “I won’t hurt my family.”

“I have everything worked out, there is a small nightclub called ‘Indecent Proposal’, three towns over. It is where couples go, to not be recognized. We can meet there later tonight. I know you can get away, once your husband comes home from work. I remember you telling me numerous times that Thomas is always exhausted after working all day and falls right to sleep, then he is dead to world till the next morning. You will have no trouble leaving the house for a few hours.”

“Komei, I can’t…”

“Roslynn,” Komei said desperately, “please, I just want to spend one night together and I am prepared to beg.”

Against my better judgment, I found myself saying I would meet him later that night. I hung up the phone before I could change my mind and walked slowly into my bedroom. I spent the next few minutes rummaging through my dresser, trying to put together some sort of disguise for later that night. The hall clock called out the time and I knew Thomas would be home any minute, I threw on my pajamas and climbed beneath the covers.

Thomas did just and Komei had predicted, he came home and fell right into bed. I rolled over and stared at him for a few minutes, I felt awful about what I was about to do, but it was the best way to end the affair once and for all.
