Gypsy Rose
Tony’s Tale, Pt. 2

“Mom, everything here is fine,” Tony said into the phone. “I’ve been studying really hard in preparation for my last final of my sophomore year. I want to keep my 4.0 GPA going, since I have worked so hard to achieve it.”

“Well, I’m glad to hear you are taking school seriously,” Roslynn’s voice crackled through the phone. “What about that lovely Pam girl, you haven’t said much about her lately.”

“Pam is in Europe, mom,” Tony said, starring out the window. “She left at the being of second semester and last I heard, she met some guy in Italy and is getting married.”

“Oh Tony,” said Roslynn, concern dripping in her voice, “I know you cared an awful lot about her.”

“It’s okay mom,” Tony sighed, “I’ve met another young lady.”

“You have,” Roslynn said, “What is she like?”

“Mom, we aren’t exactly dating,” Tony said, anxiously tapping his fingers on the windowsill. “We are just friends, but I have feelings for her. I’m just not sure exactly what those feelings are.”

“Well, I’m glad to hear that you aren’t broken hearted over Pam…”

“Mom, I hate to cut this short,” Tony interrupted, eyeing the pretty blonde mailwoman walking down the street, “but I have to get going; don’t want to be late for class.”

“Oh certainly not,” Roslynn said, “I love you Tony, take care and study hard.”

“Love you too, mom,” Tony said hastily. “Talk to you again soon.”

Tony hung up the phone and sprinted out of the dorm’s common room to greet the mailwoman. “Dagmar, good morning.”

“Morning Tony,” she said brightly. “How is the studying coming?”

“Great,” said Tony, with a broad smile, “I’m completely prepared for my final.”

“Well, that is wonderful,” Dagmar said, returning his smile.

“You look beautiful today, Dagmar,” Tony said, leaning closer to her.

“Oh thank you,” said Dagmar, a soft pink blush coloring her cheeks. “You always catch me off guard with your compliments.”

“I don’t know why,” Tony said playfully, “you know I’m crazy about you.”

“Oh Tony,” Dagmar said softly, touching his arm lightly, “your embarrassing me.”

“Then let’s go out to dinner tonight,” Tony said, gazing into her eyes. “We can celebrate my A+ on my final exam and talk more about us.”

“You are certainly confident,” Dagmar said smiling wide.

“I’m always confident,” Tony said, with his cocky grin, “You’ll learn to love that about me.”

“All right,” Dagmar said, “I’ll meet you downtown, around seven.”

“Great,” Tony said, lightly touching Dagmar’s cheek, “I’ll be looking forward to our date all day.”

At least Pam isn’t still around to see Tony romancing another woman.

So, did Pam really go to Europe or is Tony just saying that instead of telling his mom he broke up with her because he’s met someone else? If she did, boy did he ever get lucky, having her fall in love with someone else! Goodness, he really is quite confidant! I just hope he’s not breaking Pam’s heart by getting himself caught out on a date with Dagmar.

Oops read the next one before this one. I’m not surprised about Pam. She and Tony just didn’t seem right for each other. I really think Dagmar would be awesome for Tony. She’d help off set that jawline he inherited from Thomas. You know, his features really evened out well and he is quite handsome. He’s such a sweetie and what a good big brother showing Anna around campus!

Oh Good! It is Dagmar - I think she’s one of the lovliest npc’s out there! Don’t listen to Roslynn, we want to see grandchildren soon! lol
Speaking of mom - why is she crying? Joy? Or is there something wrong at home??
