The Morgan Family, Moving Day

Hey there! Boy, you guys decided to visit at the perfect time. I’m afraid I am not going to be in Glacier Bay for much longer, oh don’t worry, I’m heading to college! I am really excited, because I never thought I would be able to afford tuition. Thankfully, I was able to secure enough scholarships and grants to make up the difference of what I couldn’t pay. My life seems to be heading in the right direction and I’m certainly excited to see what college life is going to be like. Oh yeah, I didn’t tell you the best part, I won’t be living alone anymore! Jonathon Ash and my other friend Ricky (he’s another neighborhood boy) will be living with me. We’re renting a small house a little ways from campus. I can just imagine what adventures we will have.

There’s been some other great news, I reached the highest level at my after school job, you are now looking at the official team mascot for the Glacier Bay Llamas (they’re a minor league hockey team)!

The team is helping me get to college, by paying for all my books. (Isn’t that nice of them, they must really like me!)

Oh, I almost forgot, Sophie will be attending Alaska State with all of us, too. She’s going to be living in one of the dorms, though. I just don’t think it is the right time for the two of us to live together yet, but maybe someday we will. I’m just glad I’m going to have so many friends around me.

Well, I’m sorry this is so short, but I have to get going. I’m going to miss this little house, it has been good to me these last few years.

See everyone at college, I’m sure we will have some interesting stories for you!

The Dupree Family, Ups and Downs

Serena Dupree narrating: Oh goodness, you’re back. Wait, I didn’t mean that the way it sounded, I’m happy you’ve decided to join the Dupree family again. It’s just that we’ve had a few problems and things around here are a little out of sorts. I’m afraid our house was broken into a few night ago.

The Ash Family, Growing Up and Out

Jonathon: I knew something like this was going to happen, I just wish I could have stopped it. I should have been able to stop it.

Natasha: Oh Jon, you can’t blame yourself, mom’s an adult; she makes her own decisions.

Jonathon: I know that, Tasha, but still…I should have done something. DA@#! I’m going for a run; I need to clear my mind.

Natasha: Oh goodness, I’m so sorry you had to hear all that, but I’m afraid Jon is really upset. Honestly, the entire family is pretty ticked off. It’s a long story, so I hope you are prepared. Well, the last time you visited, Jonathon told you about mom and Mr. Dupree (Zane). The two of them had been seeing quite a bit of each other lately and they were getting closer and closer…

The Morgan Family, Normal Teen??

Oh, your back to learn more about me?!?! Hmmm…I’m surprised. Honestly, my life isn’t that interesting, I know, most teenagers would love the opportunity to live on their own. (No parents telling them what to, being able to make their own decisions, etc.) But, really I can’t afford to act wild and crazy. I have to keep up the appearance that there is someone at home taking care of me. I don’t want to cast suspicion into my family, so I have to take a lot of care, making sure my house is up to par.

The Dupree Family, Gramps Speaks

Good Morning, eh. Glad to see ya’all decided to drop in on the Dupree family, again. Last time my lovely daughter, Serena, narrated our story, but dis time she’s busy working on a promotion. (Dat woman is always got her nose in a book.)

Well, our family’s starting to get into a groove around here and we seem to be settlen’ in nicely, eh. I must admit dat I’m happy to have someone preparing home cooked meals, again. (Molly was a terrific cook, but I never picked up dat art. Thank goodness Serena followed in her ma’s footsteps.) I’ve insisted dat the entire family gathers at dinner time to talk over our days (dat’s the only way we can keep track of one another).
